My wife wants me to build her a computer. Finally. After looking at the ASUS Laptops and me convincing her I could build a better desktop she finally agreed.

Let me start with the basics:

She plays WoW. At the moment anyway, but who knows what will be next. She does the household financing, Office programs, some photo-editing, email, internet....etc...

I'm gonna let you guys have at it. Just want to see what you can come up with within my budget. Prefer amd but not opposed to Intel. Looking for the best bang for the buck.

Must include everything. Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, OS......Everything.

Prefer to order it from newegg.

Budget - $1300. May can squeeze a little more, but would like to stay close to that number.

Have Fun!!!!

Well, she can beat what you have for 1300 bucks, so start by giving her your rig then building you a new one.

Looks good.
A very upgradeable PC. Especially with that great PSU.

soild build, I would say go for a 6950 instead of the 6870. its only $20 more and its unlockable/overclockable to a 6970

I would also toss in a SSD instead of the W.D. black, to cover the cost you could get a cheaper MOBO and PSU because theres really no need for such expensive ones. then you could toss in a $40 W.D. blue later on for storage space
