After some advice in the AMD I have decided I'm going Intel. I have narrowed down to 1x ITX build and a Notebook.

ITX Build

22'' inch 1080p screen

Costs around £760

Laptop

i7 4700QM
8gb Ram
2x 750gb hard drives

17.3 display 1080p
Clevo
Windows 8
Costs £800

Now once to twice a week i drive to my parents and take my current laptop. I dont really mind setting up an itx but would a laptop be better?

Which one would you get in my situation?

The mini ITX build should be perfect for your use if you don't mind the 5 minutes it takes place your rig in the car. Be sure to wrap someblankets around it and put it safe. And if the road is bumpy might be good to take the GPU out. But if the GPU sits vertically as it does in a mITX it shouldn't be a problem. I always am to lazy to take my GPU out when taking my rig from or to my dorm and it hasn't given me any problems so far. Really the 670 is a beast compared to that laptop. The 765m isn't a bad mobile GPU but the 670 will feel much smoother and will be easily replacable when you feel the need. Which is great. I was also contemplating a laptop or a mITX and I chose the mITX and I am very happy. The building was fun and it makes you feel good to start up your homegrown rig for the first time and everything works

which case are you going to get?

Coolermaster Elite 120 as its pretty small but fits an atx psu and most graphics cards.

Oohrightyou are that guy/girl from that other thread. Why do you make two threads about the same subject lol

check my replyin the other thread. Yes cooler master 120 is the way to go if you meed that optical disc drive. I suggested the node 304 which has room for bigger cpu coolers and longer graphics cards but the optical disc drive needs to be external if you want one. They have the node 304 in white too because I saw you like the white cm 120, which indeed looks very nice.

So have you decided on the mITX then? Suggest your build in the club for beastly mitx rig I linked you to make sure there are no incompatibility issues. And also that PSU is too high wattage, your efficiency will suffer when in idle or browsing/doing office work.
