Boot into safe mode and see if the administrator has a password. If so then you will have to hook the drive to another computer, get your files off it, and then reinstall windows.

win xp? log in in safemode, you will see there is another account that is hidden under normal login. use it, then just remove the password from the other user account you've locked in the users control panel

if u cant log in to any user get a floppy and format it to dos boot disk. then reboot the pc with floppy as 1 drive. when you get to dos go to c:\\windows\\system32. over there there is a file called logon first backit up somewere else then delete it . again in the system 32 file copy cmd and rename it as logon. then reboot your pc a hard disk as master then when you get to login page wait for 15 min so that the screen saver comes up. instead cmd will come up type net stat administrator * into cmd and type in ure new password

You can download this as well, its a linux based rescue disk that allows you to strip the password off windows accounts.

http://ebcd.pcministry.com/

Dude, don't try cracking it. Just reset the admin password using a linux-based password reset cd. I do it all the time, and charge people money...
