I just added one more PC to the farm making 3 P4s and one CrashBox
3 total in my Room LoL can you say BTUs...
Well my crashbox is my old unstable amd duron 900 "spitfire"
cant believe i still remember the core name...
well i have it underclocked to 810mhz because it will not hold stable at 900...
cant believe it actually ran at 1.2ghz lol... well its folding now i hope it finishes a fram before december....doesnt look that way though....
its funny because i kicked the hell out of it when it crashed on me one day and theres a big crack on the side and the front cover is now held on by gaff tape...
the mouse goes up and down fine but left and right it goes about 1inch per mouspad... i know the mouse is good because i use it on my other folder...
well its getting hot in here.... anyways durons in the house....
im gonna buy a new AMD system soon to play games on...

LOL, thats funny man, you kicked the crap out of it.....lmao! I am working on a folding farm, well not yet, just working out the details. I am going to have like 4-5 motherboards all in one enclosure. I might try to go diskless, but I am not very Linux friendly. Just trying to decide on the best cpu/mobo combinations for performance/price/lowest electrical consumption.

Half of my rigs are AMD's that aren't reliable enough to be used normally, so they end up in my little collection. Never Kicked the ***** out of any of them...... Yet. lol

The problem is probably with the person that built your AMD machines. Your run of the mill computer builders useually arent savy enough to understand the complexities of building an AMD machine.

I've built some of them! They have a lifespan like anything else. Get an old XP on a 810 motherboard. The run of the mill from a few years back. They are starting to show thier age now and have to be put out to pasture..... Folding

"complexities of building an AMD machine" That's quite funny.

Theyre not multi raided phase change systems. Just old AMD junk.
