Just bought an R9 290, now my PSU is whining when under load.....PSU or MOBO problem
PSU or MOBO problem?
PSU is an 850W Corsair TX. It'll be four years old this August. Swapped my 1100T 6core AMD CPU for new FX 8350 about a month ago. Running it @ 4.5ghz 1.400vcore 24/7
You can check my sig rig that's what I WAS running. I just swapped out my TWO SLI 560 (2gb models - not sure if the amount of Vram would significantly change the cards power draw).
Dropped this 290 in four days ago. PSU whining started on Thursday. Not just under load -- but specifically (strangely) on menu screens, then not even in game
