So I was at my CO-OP th other day and I was bored, so I temporarily OC'd the computer I was working on to 3.8.

Core i5 660 Stock 3.3 GHz
152*25 = 3.8 GHz
vcore = 1.15v

Stock air cooling. Stable with prime95 @ 74c max temperature

Just so you remember how small the stock air cooler is:

I had it stable at 4.0 as well, with 1.2v but it would go into the 90s at load, so I backed off to 3.8.

they use that aircooler for the i5 6xx? i thought that was the new cooler for the sandybridge

edit your right, damn that thing is small. That cool though, ive oced my i7930 to 4.2 with stock cooler, but my stock cooler is a bit bigger.

1.15V for 3.8? that seems really low... nice
seems like a good chip
