its a E2140
just wondering if anyone has this chip overclocked.
i did search but want to know who has it upto date

and will it work in a evga 750i ftw mobo?

It'll work in that board for sure and i'm positive I've seen one OC'd here before, but I don't recall who/what clocks.

The E2140 is supported by an LGA 775 socket, and that motherboard supports that socket, so yeah...it'll work out.

EDIT: According to this resource, one guy got his E2140 to a 3.4GHz.

i knew about the socket 775 but wasnt sure about yorkfield or wolfdale.the chip is a malay

Yes, it'll work in a 750i FTW.

People have had this CPU as high as 3.8Hz on air, but not sure on how stable that is.

You should be able to get about 3.2GHz easily from it.
