i feel that its ur cpu temp...its probably overshooting....and reason for that could be the HSF and thermal paste...apart from that could also be ur fan is spinning too low....or is ur fan spinning?

cant seem to think of anything else since u did not make any changes aprt frm the thermal paste and the psu...just how much thermal paste did u apply?

I applied like a thin layer of it... Not too much just like a bb sized ball in the middle then I spread it out... But my temps are just fine the cou is around 110 degrees F and the fans are all spinning

i am sorry mate kinda feel bushed now...so i have one last suggestion b4 i turn in for the night....

take out everything and then plug everything in again and see if that helps....
Sounds good Ill try that too. Thanx for ur suggestions
if you're still having problems just switch back to your old psu... that way if you still have the problem you'll know it's something to do w/ your cpu/heatsink and if it fixes the problem it's somethign to do w/ your new psu
try old PSU to help isolate the problem, then if its the cpu i would remove the cpu,put it back in, reapply as5 and reset cmos, then boot
