Ok so I have the 3770k with the Asus P8Z77-V LK and a H100 cooler. Basically I want to get 4.4Ghz. Now I think Ill start of by setting the multiplier for the cores to x44 and then Ill find the voltage for the CPU and se that to 1.225?

Any thing I should find and turn off?

Note Iam new to this BIOS and have difficulty finding some settings that are named differently.

Well set up and testing in prime with blend and i notice that i set my voltage to 1.225 but cpuz showing it running at 4.4ghz at 1.168 -1.178 is that odd or ? Max temps 62 degrees

About 10 mins in core one got an error. what should I do? the Vcore runs 1.232 - 1.240 when on stress testing

went in and set the profile to high and it seems to be going between 1.208 and 1.216 fairly often. max temp right now was 65 degrees.

That is not odd. Software never reports what your actual voltage is anyways, and I wouldnt really rely on cpu-z for monitoring voltages or anything, really. Use hwinfo.

As long as you stay under both 1.5-1.6v and 90-100*C you are good

An error on a core is a sign of instability. It doesnt matter how instability manifests is the million ways it can (BSOD, reset, black screen, flashing screen, driver crashes, usb not working, mouse being slow, keyboard numlock turning on when you didnt push it, loud sounds, artifacts, etc), what matters is that it happened.

prime95 24 hour testing, custom blend (google) is the easiest and fastest way to stress test ram and the cpu. use small fft to test for temps.
