Under SUSE, i was never able to successfully burn a CD. Under Mandriva, it gave me the "CD burning failed" notice with that taunting "failure" sound, but the disk seems to be ok. I'm planning on using Linux for everything except gaming. Is everything gonna be this [email protected]$$3|)?<br><br>
Or does K3B just do that all the time?<br><br>
Does Linux have a DVD playing software?<br><br>
This is why i don't see Linux going mainstream...<br><br>
Edit: nvm, the CD was garbage.

i use ubuntu.. and i can play and burn dvds with no effort at all.. gnomebaker is a descent program as well as k3b it must be your hardware or your media or a bad config
