Kaspersky or Norton IS 2010?

Right now I have a trial copy of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, which I will just reinstall every 30 days. Now my friend gave me his norton internet security disc which comes with 3 keys so I could use one. Which would offer better protection? I am willing to redo kaspersky every month if it means better protection

kaspersky by far. I have both norton is 2009 (deleted) and kaspersky 2010 on my laptop. Kaspersky uses much less resources and is much much better at virus detection.
I would vouch for Kaspersky. I've been using it for 3 years and never got any thing. My only problem with it was that it was blocking some genuine site and you may have to manually add it to your allow list. You barely notice any slow down during scanning and it update almost everyday. Norton is not that bad especially if you got it for free.
yea thats why im leaning towards norton for that reason. everyone loves free stuff
