It does help nevertheless. and good job. I myself got a set if corsairs to go from 800 at 4-4-4-12 to 1066 at 5-5-5-18. The basic voltage was supposed to be 2.1v (recomended voltage) but it ran at 1066 at 1.95v and it was stable occt and prime95 for 8 hours(would have probably gone longer but had to shut off computer.
I used to own 2x1gig 800mhz hyper x sticks and couldn't even run them @ 833Mhz, 5-5-5-15, v2.2 !!! I e-mailed my problem then an engineer working at kingston replied it: "The overclocking headroom depends on the DRAM chips being used on the modules. It is simply the luck of the draw. "
