It does help nevertheless. and good job. I myself got a set if corsairs to go from 800 at 4-4-4-12 to 1066 at 5-5-5-18. The basic voltage was supposed to be 2.1v (recomended voltage) but it ran at 1066 at 1.95v and it was stable occt and prime95 for 8 hours(would have probably gone longer but had to shut off computer.
That HyperX overclocks good. I got mine from 800MHz to 1070MHz stable on 2.1v when I had them.

i got mine overclock to 6-6-6-23 at 1152mhz run damn fast but... my rig won't turn off. now i'm runing it at 5-5-5-18.
My Dominators 1066 5-5-5-15 do 1175 4-4-4-12 with 2.0v. Stock voltage is 2.1v
I run benchmarks @ 1250 4-4-4-4, yes thats not a typo 4-4-4-4 with 2.25v

Yes overclocking ram improves system performance. This should be common knowledge here.

And the HyperX is pretty good memory. Nice overclock.

I agree; just like those crucial 800's that does 1066 with looser timing.

what is the highest you can get with kingston is there any way we can check for the temp?
not sure but I know its some fast RAM. Stock voltage is 1.8 but I have seen people online that run it at 2 and 2.1 volts.
I used to own 2x1gig 800mhz hyper x sticks and couldn't even run them @ 833Mhz, 5-5-5-15, v2.2 !!! I e-mailed my problem then an engineer working at kingston replied it: "The overclocking headroom depends on the DRAM chips being used on the modules. It is simply the luck of the draw. "

i guess he's right.It is a matter of luck.

dumb question for ya all, how do you confirm your memory is oc,ed. where do you look cpu-z or what?
cpu-z is what I use.
i have those rams i´m gonna try this oc rigth now to see what happen.. XD
