Koean monitor (QNIX) - a couple of questions

1. Do they work at 1080p? I would probably have to lower the resolution for some games, I don't want to be surprised that I can't do that

2. Do they have matte screens, and if so how matte are they? I have my desk in a bad place, my current glossy monitor becomes a mirror during the sunlight

3. Let's say the monitor already arrived to me...Is it already calibrated, and ok to use? 60Hz is enough for me, I don't know anything about monitors, the only thing I could possibly do is to change its brightness (I hope it is possible?).

5. I've heard that...uhm...it's difficult to lower the monitor. It would be ok if only the screen was as low as possible. My current screen lays about 4cm above the desk and anything more would be a trouble.

6. I know many IPS screens have that, but...I expect the new monitor to be some kind of an improvement, I don't want it to have shiny splashes all around. Is BLB really a problem with these monitors? What could I do with this?

I have money only for one korean monitor, and I don't want this to be a lottery or something, thanks!

1. NO but some have gotten it to work at 720p
2. They do have matte screens and they are very light. Many have opted to get matte with no regrets
3. there is no calibration so you will have to calibrate the colors or use a posted color ICC profile. There is a brightness setting
5. The monitor stand has no adjustments except for a very slight tilt. You may want to look at an aftermarket stand. Many very good stands have been posted in the club thread for the Qnix for around 20-30
6. Yes backlight bleed can be an issue but there is a known fix for this in the club thread as well.

THIS IS A LOTTERY THING. A lot get very lucky but there is some bad cases. PLEASE go onto the Qnix monitor club thread and carefully and comprehensively read through AT LEAST the OP before purchasing. Most of your questions are addressed and some answered in glorious detail. Also searching in the thread is very easy if you use good search terms(backlight bleed, guide, experience, etc)

Hope you learn a bit and make an informed decision.
