As far as it goes, it's an average shooter to be honest, a majority of people only bought the game for the zombie mod. I've had a lot of fun with it with my flat mates at uni, but the one level gets so darn boring after a while.
True there is the PC alternative with its large number of maps, but not all my mates have quick PCs.

Yes, there were about three different zombie mods for CoD4. Too bad the first one which I preferred seems to be dead. Now there is just the zombie mod with classes, and one with bot zombies.
