[Kotaku]Red Faction: Guerrilla Weapons and Vehicles Trailer

As a massive red faction fan I was looking forward to this and it just doesn't play as well as the first two games.

Finally! I LOVE Red Faction! I beat the first one multiple times. Damn that was such a good game. I have it for pc

But man, this is looking awesome! I can't wait! I'm pre-ordering for sure! >:]

Same, the storyline didn't match up with the first at all I don't think if I remember right. But either way it was still fun to play and was pretty good, I just didn't find it up to par with the first.

Hopefully this one can keep up, I was pretty skeptical on the going from 1st person shooter to a 3rd person pretty much but you now I think it's gonna be pretty fun even like that

Also the engine they use for Red Faction, really blew my mind when I played the first one. The destructability was incredible. It was the first game I had seen that had implented it to such an extent. Also like stated above, the weapons were cool, pretty long storyline that was well written, fun to play, and even multiplayer was good. In fact, i think there are still people playing that online (computer version).

Wasn't it the first one where you could do that. I believe RF2 had some form of restriction.

I remember in the Warlord? map in RF1 you could blast tunnels through the rocks all the way to the other side

You couldn't do that in RF2 since you could only blast so far

And yeah in response to the one personf rom earlier. Its 3rd person, Idk if its going to be like that the entire time but thats what i read in an interview on it.

Also if you haven't played the first one pick up a copy of it. If you can find a copy of it, it'll probably be really damn cheap but its worth it. Hopefully this new game sticks to that epitome of awesomeness

I played the first one, and this one only the buildings are destroyable, not the terrain, but who cares, destroying buildings is more fun.
