Ok so i picked up a used Sata 2.5in laptop HD. I was wondering if they make SATA-II 7200rpm hds in this size. Im wanting to get 4 of them and setup a raid0 in my desktop. I want to use them cause they dont take up any room And they run cooler. At least cooler than my 160Gb 3.5in Hds. So what do youthink? I dont have the money for SSDs so this is as small as i can find.

Yes they make them in 7200RPM. I believe Seagate has them.

5400 RPM isnt really that big a deal..especially since you will be using RAID..might save you some..but if you are looking for maximum speed..go bigger HDD's and 7200 rpm's. Higher density HDD platters dont require as much movement from the motor or 'arm'..so latency is reduced..making it effectively faster.
