I have a Asus K84L modified with a i7 and Windows 7 (Intel HD 3000 Graphics). Has been working great. Seems I put it in the laptop bag while it was still on and it ran until the battery died. I plugged it in a day later and it asked to resume which I did. When it booted, the graphics were very much degraded. Almost like it was running 8 or 16 bit (which it is not, it is running 32 bit). I plugged an external monitor into it and that works perfect. Any ideas what could have happened? Could the actual LCD screen be the issue?
