Hey, I was looking at acouple LCD's off newegg and I was wondering acouple things. First off, are the resolutions that they have there in the specifications for windows only or does that go for any application of the monitor? Secondly, do these monitors have a cable input so I can just run a cable stright to the monitor and watch tv or something like that if I have a cable box hooked up or whatnot?

1. i'm pretty sure the res is set by the monitor (it says "your monitor does not support higher than blah blah" in settings)<br />
2. i'm pretty sure you need one with a built in TV tuner to work with cable. But if you have a box that outputs in DVI, w/e is supported by the monitor, it will work.
