The G965 can't run the latest games because it has the Intel Media Accelerator X3000 onboard graphics. They are comparing budget integrated solutions from Intel, nVidia, and AMD/ATI. The Intel can't run several games, but ATI and nVidia still get less than 30 FPS. All of these platforms still have a PCI-e x16 slot if you really wanted to play games.

Do I see quad-crossfire? I wonder if 4x4 meant 4 cores and 4 GPUs. The RD580 with 3 GPU and 2 CPUs looks tasty, and it is only a few months away.

I guess it's to an external GFX-case... I heard such rumors before... I would think it a cool development, not having to worry about the gfx cooling.... Especially if one could hook it up to both ones desktop computer and laptop(in the future)... then one finally could have a real gaming laptop, simply hook it up the highend gfx box at home... but still have a portable lightweight laptop for work/uni/school which doesn't drain the battery too much...

Nvidia alread has something like that for image processing and 3d rendering. It is part of the Quadro series. It would be nice to see a gaming version soon.

Well, I for one am glad I wont be purchasing a new computer until the end of next year, right after the AMD quad cores and RD790 come out.
