Looking for a decent-perfoming and reliable general purpose laptop and found this Lenovo on sale at Microcenter. No gaming. Seems pretty good for the money. Anybody know of a better deal? I'm tempted to buy this thing now. I don't want to go much over $500. Cheap is good.

CPU: i5 2430M(2.4ghz)
Memory: 4GB
Hard drive: 500GB(5400rpm)
Monitor: 15.6 inch, 1366x768 pixels
GPU: Intel HD 3000
OS: Windows7 home premium 64-bit

I got the G570 at Fry's, same thing except mine has 750GB drive.

Fry's has it for $479 right now, but if you don't have Fry's near you the MC deal is still pretty good.

The G570 is great for the money, LED display looks great.

The Lenovo monitors I've seen are quite good. I bought a Lenovo E520 for my dad last year and the stock monitor is fabulous. Super sharp and good color. There's an Asus on sale at Best Buy that I'm also considering. Monitor quality is very important to me and that could end up being the deciding factor. I'll have to go and see the Asus monitor in the store.
