I think that going sli gtx 460 2gb > crossfire 6850 1gb. Especially when you calculate the price difference after mail in rebate.

wow, I have reconsidered my whole build, i much prefer the ocz from which i have heard about before, have not heard the ZOTAC ZT-40406-10P GeForce GTX 460 2gb before but seems very good, ill be able to pickup at a fairly good price.
Acefire you got me thinking man you've been such a great help.

this MOBO you suggested has got really good review about it, and its a 12 phase with fantastic OC ability however would it be worth going the extra ~20 to get the 16 phase GA-Z68XP-UD4?

I'm pretty sure a 12 phase will overclock your processor to the limits. You want to make sure that you get the mail in rebate on that card. Otherwise I might suggest somthing else. I was impressed by the $40 MIR.
