There is a dirt cheap motherboard on eBay I was looking at. Says it is missing a pin, but tested ok. Anyone ever have a board with a missing pin and it still works ok? I guess it could just depend on which pin is missing. Some might not matter. I just wanted to know if this was legit. Also wondering if it tested ok with a certain CPU, but another might not work.

Well the pins are there for a reason and to be honest if one was missing I wouldn't trust it

I'm guessing its a socket pin? Might not overclock well and who know if it was tested for stability or they just slapped it in and it booted. Look for a shcematic none the less if the deal is to good.

I normally wouldn't trust it, but it's just over 2 dollars with free shipping. There is another very good deal on a high end motherboard that I'm watching. I'm not going to tell you which one though. You'll have to find it yourself.
