I got a new one for the gurus out there to help me diagnose...

Brand new PSU rig was FINE before the last PSU crapped out...

Plug in the new PSU, plug everything in, turn on everything lights up...

The monitor doesn't come on, I've tried all 4 outputs from the video cards and I know the monitor works as I just used it to set up the other folders...

Am I missing something stupid or what...

I even tried to pull out a stick o Ram and still nothing...

It's not even getting to post with monitor off as logmein won't even detect it...

The first thing I tried before posting was to reset the cmos, nogo...

@ Mega I do I get a long beep if I unplug the PCIe plug from GPUs...

@ Jersey I started rig with no RAM in at all and it did same as before, can't the screen so don't know if there was an error, there was no beeping though...

@ Markt tried both cards by themselves and still a nogo...

This SUCKS it was working fine before the last PSU crapped...

I may have to tear apart another rig to try different parts...GRRR about to sell the Farm, too much babysitting...

Well if it didn't beep with an error, there may be something wrong with your mobo.
What PSU is it?
You said it did beep when you unplugged the GPU, thats good.
Try to take the motherboard out of the case, try 1 stick of RAM, and 1 video card to start up.
After that start singling items out. A PSU crapping might have killed some of your parts...

Cooler Master Extreme 600...I tried 1 stick and 1 GPU and nogo...

I mean all the lights come on all fans spin just no visual...

I even took a GPU out and put it in another folder and it's folding along no problem...

I'm beginning to think it IS the board...

Yeah its most likely the board if it powers up for a second then stops.

could be that you might need a 1.8v stick of ram to just boot the pc up and set the volts for the ram to 2.2 in bios save and exit then shutdown, slap the tracers in, boot up.

This isn't my sig rig, it's for folding rigs...It is(was) running some G.Skill...

Thanks folks for all the help, I've contacted mobo_outlet for replacement or reimbursement...We shall see...Seems I'm down to 3 folders now...

Did you try just one card in the second PCI-E slot?

With the 780i boards it won't boot up/show video unless there is a card in slot 1.

Also Wannabe OC, I've seen dead PSU's where the fans spin up, but no visual. Have you tried the PSU in another build?

If all you did was replace the PSU, and the rig doesn't work now, I would bet on the Mobo being bad. I had the same thing happen to me. My rig went down, I thought "oh well, the PSU must of went out". I replaced the PSU and nothing, I had power, but wouldn't boot up. I tried a different Mobo, and bingo, that was the problem. The Mobo went out, not the PSU.
