But really, there's a computer shop down the street from my house that buys bulk from places like newegg and then mark them up ridiculously. I remember a sale for a monitor and they had like a hundred of them (exaggerate).
Yup. Newegg buys in ridiculous bulk so nobody can compete with their prices. I used to work for a computer store, and 99% of the time the manufacturer's "cost" that was available to us as a business was much higher than newegg prices.
