Linux - Help wih audacious and ProjectM

so does anyone have projectM running with audacious.. after trying to install xmms from the repositories i realized its way out dated and after doing some research this seams to be the spawn child of xmms so.. if anyone has it working please how did ya do it. also can you direct me to some sweet skins i used to use almond for xmms and is this program really worth it .. im half set to go dig up an old .deb package for xmms.. thanks in advance and its great to back into linux again

For the skins at least, gnome-look.org has several (audacious can use xmms skins). You can also use any "classic" Winamp skin.
Woohoo, projectM is in Fedora 10! Now, to try it out.

nice i have just given up on it and switched to amarok of course i do not like having a plug-in and not being able to configure its settings

Don't ask me, I had no problem pulling up the menu and configuring it. Hit 'M'

are you talking about when its running inside amarok ? all i can seam to do is hit F1 and it does not list an M option

so what program are you using to run projectm im now confused.. or course i dont run anything like KDE i prefer a better gui like gnome
