[slow'puter]

I have an old P1 laptop that I do not know what to do with, except to use it as a door jamb. So I ma thinking, there is better device support for older computers in Linux, so which one should I use in this particular machine?

It is frigging slow in Win98... not so slow in its native Win 95, but I have a feelin gthat Linux will make it go a little bit faster. I just want it to learn my way around Linux.

try and find a copy of mandrake 8.0 its a little older but it works well with older computers. plus in my opinion mandrake linux is probably the best for new linux users.
