Linx Or Prime95?

Ive always been using prime 95 for my stability tests but just recently tried out linx. Ive heard something like 8m of linx is equal to like 40 hours of prime 95? Ive just passed 20runs of linx using all my available ram. Is it safe to say my oc is stable.

very likely.
LinX stresses the CPU much more than Prime95.
also, run it for 1 hour. If it passes, you are stable.
20 mins is ok, but better be 100% sure

I always do the following:
Prime95 Small FFTs for 10 hours
Prime95 Blend for 4 hours
LinX for 1 hour

Overkill, yes, but if it passes all of this I know it is stable

Linx generaly crashes before prime, but they are not exactly equivelent. I have had linx stable builds crash on prime and vice versa. I usually do 25 passes of linx and 12-16 hours prime, plus a few runs of memtest and call it stable.

That being said, I switched from prime 95 to linx as my weapon of choice for closing in on an overclock. Linx will almost always crash faster hence saving you time.

there has been times when I passed on p95 20+ hours and failed miserably on linx... goes to show you that linx is going to set you up for failure lol jk

Just thought i would mention this, I have had linx fail on the 21 and 26 run of linx. As such, i think a more appropriate number of runs would be 50-100 (70 is what i went with)
