Its a cheap chinese mouse, you can easily get an idea of how bad it is just by looking at the plastics it uses, or the software

Even if you are right, which you aren't....

There's nothing in the thread that says cheap mice are excluded (if that were true).

Oh, and BTW, MSRP is $99.99. So its made in china? Big deal, so is half of your computer. Quit trolling and contribute something useful.

MSRP is meaningless, and made in china IS DIFFERENT than chinese brand, of course all of my computer is made in china, as well as my logitech mouse and audiotechnica headphones, but they where designed by a non-cancerous non-chinese brand.

Just look at that garbage mouse, naga/g600 clone, you can get a cm storm spawn or logitech g300s for that kind of money and get a way better experience

I've been wanting to try this one. I've bought headphones from Sentey and they are amazing. I don't know how they sell their products for the prices they do, but it makes me think that this mouse is probably better than the price would indicate.

My friend got one of those mice, the software was pretty interesting, it allowed 33Hz, 66Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 333Hz, 500Hz, 750Hz, and 1000Hz iirc. Really interesting.

I wonder how badly 33hz would stutter.

I mean it would almost be like playing on 33fps wouldn't it? Yeah models would move smoother, but the camera movement would be the same.

What does that mean in regards to a mouse?

If you don't know what I'm saying then you probably don't really need to care too much. I'll explain anyway though, I was talking about polling rate, polling rate is how often the mouse polls to the USB controller. 1000Hz is 1ms, 500Hz is 2ms, 250Hz is 4ms, 125Hz is 8ms. The mouse uses an Avago 9800 sensor which is known for having 5-10% negative/positive acceleration (it's actually speed variance, not true acceleration but we'll stick with that word for now) based on the surface it's on.

For $30 though, it's really not that bad of a price for what you get, it's $10 less than the cheapest Sensei even (the Sensei Raw Frost Blue is $38.90) though I'd imagine the firmware is written by children, it's to be expected. All in all, I'd say that it can be a real wild card, it can treat you really well or really badly. My friend seems to enjoy his mouse from them though, however he's not very tech savvy so he probably doesn't really care.

I would probably spend my $20 on an MLT04 mouse or a G100s personally (only for the fact they're not laser mice), but it's your money and you're free to do what you want. I'm just giving you my input from how I see it.

Ahh ok thanks for the info. Yeah, the thing is I want a mouse with the finger rest, so that limits options.

Couldn't help but notice people 'discussing' putting a chinese branded mouse on the list. Sharkoon are a chinese company, aren't they? Probably an Asian company, at least. The M20 is a pile of s... The weight compartment is impossible to get off with that big "Press" button. Needed to use a pry tool (screwdriver) to get access to the weights. Shape is god awful compared to the Xornet/Spawn. It tries, and fails, too hard to be a Xornet/Spawn.

Never heard of the brand but that mouse is interesting for having a prominent pinky rest in addition to the ring finger rest—I wonder how well that works for fine control and lifting. Still, it's a laser mouse which means I wouldn't touch it, but I'm definitely adding it to the list.

Quote:

I pay no attention to such discussions, having bought excellent products from Chinese brands in the past (OnePlus comes to mind). I think they're referring to those cheap knockoffs of existing mice that get mass exported from China, rather than mice of original design by Chinese brands. I added Sharkoon because it's reputable enough, but your input on it is certainly welcome.
