local file syncing software

i have my macbook and desktop mac, both running leopard, and looking for software to sync files locally, so i can work on my macbook when out come home and sync files to my desktop to continue work.

anyone know of any good ones, dont mind if freeware or not, cause if it does the top i would buy it

Personally, I just dock my laptop and use it as a desktop. That way I don't have to worry about syncing.

You could use rsync, if you feel like getting your hands dirty. It's free, and it does exactly what you'd want, but it's not exactly easy to use.

cheers for the surgestions but yeh i think i'll just stick with the apple sambra system
