Hi guys,
I just picked up a set of G930 wireless gaming headset, I leaned torwards wireless to try the freedom of no cables and based from some good reviews picked them up. Installed the drivers and thought I would give crysis 2 a go at default. I was playing with a set of Ultimate ears 350 earbuds for some time now and going to these was hoping for a better experience, I was left disappointed and want to return them. Any large explosion has static or base levels distort the speaker completly. I had to turn base down (not sub setting) almost to 30% to take that away but then was left with a treble pingy sound. Is there a way to set these up correctly or should I return and get a different set. i was looking for a more surround sound type feeling that I didnt think I could get with stereo, or can I tune my UE 350's better and just stick with them, My sound is coming from the onboard sound on the asus chv motherboard.
$100-130 was my range, I would prefer to stick to shopping at frys due to the employee/family discount I get. Some Bose sets are way cheap (170 down to 100) but thought a deticated gaming set would be better for some reason lol.
Please advise, Im begining to think I made a mistake going with a gaming set.
Thanks
