Logitech Z5500 question

hey! i got the Z5500 for over 2 years now its a really GREAT speaker but i dont know why for some reason i googled it LOL, while i was doing random search i notice that theres 2 different kind of plug behind the sub, one is RCA the other is direct wire like this



does anyone know if there's anything else different other than just the plug?

i got the direct cable one.

There is a not a really difference. The Rca you are limited to where you can mount your Speaker. The one you use speaker wire give you the choice where you want to mount the speaker. Plus I would think using speaker wire would give you better sound clarity.
nope no difference, just different plugs, the recent models of the z-5500 are the normal speaker wire version
The RCA is the older one.

I have the direct version same as you. Allows for easier re-cabling like I have done.
