Yeah, you have to give it a little time to "kick in" for it to give you a more accurate reading of the estimated time.

Edit: yeah that's a rockin' WU you've got there... just look at the complexity of the model...

lol yea, i did like 3 500 frame WU so far, and they took like a day a piece.

The model isn't that complex or anything, in fact the model doesn't even represent the actual proteins being processed at all...

He just has the display set to "Ball & Stick" instead of "Virtualization" like most people use...

But yea, don't worry, in 15-30 minutes the estimated time will be sorted out. You should use FahMon to give you a more accurate estimation, it's much better than going off the [email protected] estimation.

I've got the same one going right now.
Currently 6 days in (part-time) at 63% (Core1). ETA 1d 8h 39m

These Gromacs cores sure take a long time. I currently have 4 of them. 2 each on my D940 and my cousin's Core Duo laptop.

It's that a lot of points?
Cause the four WU's that I have are going to give me 359, 396, 385, 381.
This is my first time folding so those will be my first wave of WU's.

Not really. I'm not even on the OCN list yet so I'm not sure how many points equals 'average'.
But from your response I would assume that is of significant value. =P

From the current WUs running, the smallest points value is 23 and the largest is 1161. So, 396 its about 33% below average if you take those two extremes alone. If you looked at all the numbers, you'd probably find it's about average, plus or minus 5% or so; although it's not really all that easy to estimate accurately off-the-top-of-my-head

300/400 is about average.

My A64 gets 600 pointers constantly. "My" C2D constantly gets 150 pointers. So yeah.
