i love both of them, you definitely want a psu from another company though. these psu's may look great, but the rails (power lines) that deliever power to your pc fluctuate like crazy on these psu's (power supply units). i know, i said the same thing, until everyone told me to buy a powersupply from antec or enermax or another reputable company. how many watts are you looking for, what's your price range, and what connectors do you need? i can probably find a psu that suits your needs...but definitely don't use the psu that comes w/ the case.

Hope this helps,

Welcome to the forums

Well anything above 400W will work maybe around 420W but the price rang is basically as cheap as I can go while getting a good PSU. And I dont know what you mean bye what connectors ill need specify?

well, if you're setting up a RAID system w/ 2 SATA hdd, you're gonna need 2 serial ata connectors that comes w/ the power supply... but if not, or you aren't planning on going to, then you can go without them.

well, what raid is is when you bridge two serial ata hard drives together, and they act in pairs, raid 0 is data striping (the one you want). raid 1 is data mirroring, which is more aimed towards data reliability. if you want raid, you need either a motherboard that supports it or you need a raid controller card (pci card) and two serial ata hard drives.

here's a brief explanation on raid:

Hope this also helps,

Well it seams like the RAID has a lot of advantages but I dont think I will need it i mean plenty of computers work fine without RAID so yea I'm gonna say a no go on RAID by the way your gonna get a few rep points for this lol.

The only reason i told you bout the ducting idea is so that you don't recirculate hot air from the power supply into the rest of the case. just an idea, all it does is force the hot air from the fan out through the blowhole.

back on the subject of cases......

personally i hate premods

i would prefur to do it al my self

and if you like the tsunami..... i might advise you to look into the coolermaster wavemaster which was the original

it isnt as flashy but it leaves more to the imagination

but out of the 2 you had picked i'd go with the aspire

but just to put it in that lian li give the best cooling and i found one for you that is cheaper than the aspire

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...112-024&depa=1

if you search the forum for lian li you will see how good the cases are

one more thing .... you may want to consider gettin a case with a removeable mobo panel so you wont be in your case bumping your head the whole time

.. the lian-li does
.... and the wavemaster

but seriously consider getting a case with a removeable mobo panel

I plan on adding a few fans
and i really like that case your gonna get.

kinda wanted a clear side, but i could always mod and put one in. i'm also gonna mod a fan in right above the hsf, and another big-ass fan to provide some "improved" airflow...lol
