looking for a macro/keymapping program

I recently reinstalled Windows and decided that I hate Logitech SetPoint. The reason is that all of the music, internet, and program keys on my EX110 keyboard work with all of the programs I use without SetPoint, including the pause and volume buttons. When I use SetPoint, they don't really work...

anyway, my keyboard also has "function" keys, which are mappable with SetPoint. They are basically alternate functions for the "F" keys. There is a key on the keyboard, which has blue writing. If you press it (with SetPoint installed), the keys will do what you set them to do, such as F1 opening up Mozilla, in my case. I wanted to know if there was some sort of program, a macro of keymapper-type program, which would allow me to use the function keys. I've found tons and tons of them of course, but I wanted to know if there was some sort of standard good one that most people use.
