Looking for a new testbench?

I have one I build out of a mobo panel & wood, but I need a new one.

Nothing needs to be flashy, but I'm looking for something sturdy that'll be esay to switch hardware on.

Are you looking for retail?

HighSpeed PC (probably won't meet your "sturdiness" requirements)
Danger Den Torture Rack

Yeah Retail.

I've seen the HSPC Bench's, and they look decent. But I'd like to see a review of them.

Also, I'd probably get the v2 14x13 if I did get one.

Also, do you know about the Technofront Ulimate Acrylic Bench or Sunbeam Ultra Tech Station ?

It seems that tech benches are kinda limited in what to get.

I know the Danger Den Torture Rack is a solid piece of equipment, but it has the same problem my old Sunbeam UFO did, which is closed sides, I much prefer the open top style with just the PCI bracket for holding stuff down. That way I don't have any limitations.

Perhaps this Senfu Tech Station.

Or, maybe the costly but (imho) elegant MicroCool Banchetto

Love the look. But I'd build it my self at that point.

I'm trying to find something cost effective that'll handle EATX boards just fine. And that isn't going to be flimsy.

My sentiments exactly.

Hmmm.... EATX, eh?

A DIY custom build may be necessary.

Seems like the problem. HSPC Top Deck 14x13 has the space. But I'm still unsure on the quality. And I don't like dropping $160 on something to have it not be quality

The problem is you can't grab EATX Mobo Tray's easily. And I've never gone about building the tray myself.

Well a small update, I may have found a 14x13 HSPC Top Deck for ~$90 so I might pick that up soon and give it a review/whirl.

I'd love to build something, but no time or money for that right now.

Thanks for the help and look around Syrillian, danke schon man!
