I want a netbook that can play a few of my games such as TF2, Day of Defeat, and Starcraft, run movies/other basic things, and have a decent battery life, I found a few and don't really know how good they are. I would get a laptop but they are way out of my budget and the ones that are actually good are $650+. Heres the ones I'm looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834157032 ; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220678 ; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834152142 . Are these good? Do you guys have any recommendations?

The samsung X120 is good. Crappy battery life if you get the 6 cell but the 9 cell has nearly double the capacity. Its got a ULV processor rather than an atom so its quite a bit faster. It also has 4500HD graphics apposed to GMA. So it can actually play HD films.

There are usually used ones on ebay.

It is a bit pricey though.

The HP mini is good. I didn't see it was an ION netbook. Little bit slow processor but better graphics.

The HP mini you listed would be your best bet, the other two are dirt slow. The HP has Nvidia Ion LE graphics which would smoke those Intel igp's. If you want decent graphical performance you must get ION.

Here's what I would get:

dual core AMD Congo platform with 3200 gfx. Battery life will probably only be 3-4 hours but meh that's enough.

If you really have to have an atom get an asus 1201n, dual core atom and ion gfx. But the only thing you'll be gaining from the msi is probably about an hour of battery life.
