Try looking at those 8800GTS listed above, excellent cards.

You could also look at the HD4830, or the 9800GT, they should be under 100 Euros

And a step down from that is the 9600GSO and the HD 4670

The best our of all of those being the 8800GTS so I"d go for that if you can.

HD4830 -

Its on pre-order but should be in within a months or so at the latest.
Although if you have the extra grab the HD4850 Lins linked its an awesome card for the price. Great performer - better than an 8800GT on par with a 9800GTX+. Does run a bit toasty but is designed to.

You can indeed overclock it - ATi bundles its own overclocking utility with its software. Works pretty well. I have one and the specs of the 4850 are very good.

Make sure to use the 'Auto-OC' function in the CCC for your GPU..it actually raises the GPUv with core speed increases..other OC programs will increase speeds only for the 48xx series GPU's.

Using the above method, I OC'd a pair of 4850's in Xfire to 690mhz core, 1150mhz RAM speeds, for stable 24/7 use.

Because i hate noisy computers @ ill break the card if it is

Its not noisy with the fan set at stock - If you turn the fan speed up over 40% it does get audible. But it will run quite toasty on the stock cooler at stock fan speed. Its not a problem as its designed to run that hot (>80*C)

The best HD 4850 out there is the HIS IceQ model, I"m not sure on the exact price, but I do remember a guy saying he got it for around 125 Euro, so I would look into that if you want a cooler 4850 and it not be audiable

What are idle and load temps on this ?

I can leave with it i guess but if it goes " nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn then BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" On load then that can get annoying especially when you go from a nice quiet mode, to launching a game and hearing that noise , but i can live with it hope i get it within 3 days
thanks again!

@tator i already placed my order

It doesn't ramp up on load - It stays around 22%.
Idle is 55*C ish and load for me was 82*C - if you turn up the fan to 35% it makes a huge difference and is still inaudible.

HIS cards are quite tricky to find for a good price here

am looking for one now, but i duno if i can cancel my order on ebuyer. ill inform you as soon as i do it.

Overdue on pre order @ http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...840&source=hx1

82*C is fine. Ati designed them to run at that temperature. Plus most single-slot 8800GTs run around that temp.
I would stick with the ASUS, the HIS isn't worth £40 extra. If teps are too high for your liking order an Accelero S1 GPU cooler for £15 - its easy to fit. But teh stock cooler should be fine.
