Hello fellas I just acquired Vista and I now want to install it on another partition. I am wondering if I can just pop the disk in a use the installer to make the partition or will I need some other program?

Thanks a lot for the help and before you say I am checking the faq's now lol.

I don't think the Vista installation process alllows you to create partitions if an operateing system is already installed, you're going to have to use third party software to create seperate partitions before attempting to install it.

It wont resize an already remaining partition though. Only creates new ones or edit exisiting in the form of new installation.
