looking to upgrade graphics card

right now i'm running 2 XFX Alpha Dog 8800GS's. I was expecting more out of these two. I'm not disappointed, I just want something better.

I want to match the performance or supass it with just one card. Later in the future I'll buy the second one. I'm going to sell one of the 8800's and give the other one to the old lady.

Any suggestions would be great.

Yeah GTX 260 Core 216 would give you a major boost, then SLI later on.

260 216's are pretty cheap go for those.

Well, what's your budget?

I would suggest the GTX260 like the above two but if you have more than $200, I would definitely get a better graphics card. GTX280 is $300, and better than the GTX260.

gtx 260 core 216. they just got a massive price cut so they should be really good for the $$$

to make it better, selling the 8800GS's on here could be a good idea - they fold well and lots of people on here are into folding
