A while back I was looking at getting iPhone 4, very glad I didn't.

I happen to have around $300 in Bestbuy gift cards I believe I could use to buy a Thunderbolt on 2yr contact as an upgrade from my current LG Voyager (lol).

Anyone want to voice some opinions on if its worth getting it or waiting for better? I was originally going to wait for the Bionic but its been months and it still seems way off.. I also don't really like Motorola build quality and am kind of worried about the overheating.

No clue if anything else is coming up in the next ~30 days I might want to wait for.. If I'm getting a TBolt, though, its going to be today.

I myself would wait, because the main draw with that phone is that it is Verizon 4G LTE enabled. Which is turning out to be really fast. (15Mbps dl)

But . . . . It's not widely available network as of now. Maybe in a year or 2. In the mean time I think the Droid X would be great.
I have it currently and like it a lot. I switched from an iPhone 3g to the Droid X and never looked back.

I'd wait a bit.. people have been reporting abysmal battery life with LTE enabled on the Thunderbolt :\\

This summer should be interesting in terms of new phone releases

Yeah, I was reading about the battery life too.

I'm going to head out anyway and mess with it. Maybe I'll have a thunderbolt in an hour, who knows?

Mmmm going to wait, just got back.

Didn't really like it.. Flipping around through the pages or whatever those 5 customizable windows are when you press the home button had some chops in it... I really hated texting on it too. I think I'll wait for bionic or better.
