Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a water cooling loop, and I have not found anywhere explaining loop orders. For the loop I was thinking:

2 240 rads
XSPC D5 pump/res
with dual GTX 680s water cooled and the CPU

Any suggestions on loop order and maybe an explanation as to why?

Or, if there any changes you would make, why?

Loop order doesn't make that big of difference in performance, just find the shortest route that you can get and that it looks good as well.

As long as the pump doesn't run dry, then you are fine. You don't have to go from one block to a rad, then one block then to a rad.

I would go RES>PUMP (but you have a bay res)>CPU>Rad>GPU>Rad>Pump>RES

As mentioned above order will not impact the performance. As long as your res is higher than the pump ensuring it doesn't run dry (no water running to it during filling) then you will be fine. You can configure the loop in any manner but the water running through its delta should remain the same.

that last part is switched,

I'm curious if two 240's will be sufficient cooling for 2 680's and a cpu. Looking at that case, can it fit a 360 up top?

usually its 120 rad per component, but i like overkill, mean slower fan speeds, which case are you asking if it can fit a 360?

I'll be buying a whole new rig, won't be using the shinobi. Case will probably be an SM8

Yeah, my bad...I was referring to his Shinobi case. Great choice on getting a CaseLabs case. I'm saving up for one as well! M10 for me.
