Hello I'm trying to play CS:GO and my computer can support it but for some reason I get very low fps like 150 and i feel like i should be getting around 300 to like 600 I have an i73770k and a 7970. And when i put all default settings in 3d applications my fps is like fine but whenever i try to change some stuff like AA or AF my fps goes to absolute ****

Turn off Vsync, also try turning off multicore rendering, or if its off, turn it on. From what I've heard turning off multicore rendering on quad core processors increases performance. And update GPU drivers.

And FYI 300 FPS is the cap for CS GO

Also try typing this in the console (~ key) - fps_max 300

There is no way you can achieve "stable" 600 fps even with your rig if that's what you are aiming for. You might get some peaks close to 1000 fps using fps_max "0" but it wont be stable at all. I'm getting around 1300 fps in Team Fortress 2 (Chris' highframes config) rocking 3570k & 7950 but it's definitely not stable.
