Firstly, this is one of my first times if not the first posting on this forum, so hello!

In skyrim I've got the high res texture packs and such, however I'm never getting over 60fps. This was the case before I installed the texture packs as well.. I've tried, ultra, high and medium. The only real difference is between ultra and medium, high stays around the same 45-60 mark which is similar to the ultra preset. I'm pretty annoyed, I've seen people running at 1080p with over 100fps. I've oc'd the card and it still doesn't do much.

My specs are
CPU: AMDA8-3850 (poverty I know, maybe the integrated graphics are causing a problem, I can't disable it in the bios though)
Mobo: MSI A75MA-G55
Ram: God only knows, 16gb of 1333 though. All from the same vendor so no conflictions.
GPU: Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 4gb GC
PSU: Corsair AX-750
HDD: 1 OCZ Agility 3 where skyrim and os are installed, 2 mech hdds.

Any tips? thanks guys!

Your system is way unbalanced. You have a 100 euro cpu with a 400 euro gpu.

Skyrim is cpu limited. Expect this cpu to hold you down

Even my i7 deeps to 30-50 fps in the towns. Skyrim use only 2 cores. Your cpu have low performance per core thats why you get so low fps

Start skyrim and monitor you gpu usage

Edit:Why you need to run skyrim at 100 fps. The physics engine go insane if you let the fps to pass the 60.If you dont want vsync limit your fps at 60.
