Recently installed an EVO 850 500GB SSD and getting 401/382 Seq read/write benchmarks through Magician and same with DiskMark64. I have set the SSD to maximum performance which is showing AHCI mode and SATA 3 (6 Gb/s) interface, and I have rechecked all connections. I used Samsung's Data Migration software to clone my HHD which was a total of 60 GB +/-. Everything seems to be working fine, startup and shutdown is fast as well as opening programs.

My setup; Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Asus Sabertooth Z77 MB, Intel 3570K @ 4.2 MHz turbo boost, 4GB Patriot memory @1648 MHz, GTX 970 and EVO 850/WDC 500GB. Feedback would be appreciated.

Check the port the drive is connected to. If it is connected to ASMedia SATA 6Gb gray port reconnect it to Intel SATA 6Gb brown port.

bogdankr you nailed it! The Intel SATA port was hiding under my 12" long graphics card. DiskMark benchmark is now 553/520 read/write which is where it should be...thanks. Great drive by the way.
