i did the same thing but used antec reference silver compound
take off the heatsink and fan, wipe off all the stock heatsink (i was surprised that there was only a tiny bit of white crap in the bottom corner of mine and the rest of the chip was naked) and put a thin layer on the entire surface of the chip, re-set the heatsink and fan
Hmm...I wonder can you take off the fans that come with the v-card and then put like another one on like a larger cfm? That sound like a good/bad idea?
