Hey!

I'm gonna build new computer for mainly gaming/surfing. I will maybe overclock. I want the computer to run new games, like Battlefield 3 Assasin's creed 3/ Batman @2560x1440 resolution, is this possible with one gtx 680?

For the case I have been thinking the new fractal design node 304. I want the computer to be silent so which cooling solution is better, AIO water, like Corsair H80i or just normal aircooling?

So here's something that I figured out on my mind:

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeace LP White DDR3L-1600 CL9 Dual Kit

HDD: Red WD20EFRX 2000GB 64MB 3.5 "(8.9cm) SATA 6Gb / s

SDD: 256GB Samsung 840 Pro Series 2.5"

Motherboard: Evga stinger z77 or Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE

GPU: asus gtx 680 dcu2 or something else?

CPU: intel core i5 3570k or i7 3770k

PSU: Silverstone sfx 450w gold with pp05 short cable kit

Case: Fractal design node 304

cpu cooling: ???? Dark rock pro 2 looks pretty damn nice

but I dont think It will fit to the case.

Well, all in one water coolers really aren't silent. They are quitter than noisy air cooling, but not as quiet as some air coolers that are designed for silence. That's a good question if the Dark rock pro 2 cooler would fit in the chassis - another important question would be it if would fit on the motherboard (I suspect it would interfere with the RAM and the PCIe slot on an ITX motherboard.) For the reason of everything fitting, I actually recommend all in one water. It won't be silent, but it will be quiet, perform well, and the other things will fit on the motherboard.

The rest of the build sounds quite good to me! A couple thoughts: If you use water cooling, you won't need low profile RAM. I have heard very good things about that Asus motherboard, so I think that would work well for you. I was going to say I recommend a little bit larger PSU (say 500 or 550), but that is because I have a 7970, not a 680 in a similar setup. You might not have as much overclocking headroom, but that should be enough for a GTX 680.

Couple things, knowing whether you will or won't overclock is pretty important. I would say, you should overclock, as it's a fairly easy process and having the right components to do so will make it even easier. Getting an H80i would be a good investment if you decide to. It is also pretty quiet, and very easy to install compared to most air coolers.

Ram: Isn't particularly bad, but you can get Samsung Ram ("WonderRam") which means more bang for your buck. It's 1600MHz ram that can clock to 1866 or 2133MHz without much effort (there's a thread dedicated to it on here).

HDD: I'd stay away from the Red Drives, go with a WD Blue or one of the newer Seagates.

SDD: Samsung 840 Pro's are awesome, very fast and reliable. However if you want to save some money you can grab a 335 Series Intel, get the same speeds as the 840 Pro but for a little less money.

Motherboard: Neither of those are really good choices, take a look at the ASRock Z77E-ITX.

GPU: If you're trying to game @ 1440p 7970 would be a better choice over the 680. Look at a Sapphire or Gigabyte.

CPU: For mostly gaming, a 3570k is fine, no need for the 3770k

PSU: For a better price you can get a Rosewill CAPSTONE-450-M 450W PSU. It's gold certified, modular, and costs $70

Can somebody say, that can I overclock my cpu and gpu the psu is only 450w, but many have said that It could, but I just wanna have confirm

I have the asrock z77e, it will so you great no matter what. It's a good overclocker and perfectly fine without overlooking. The only issue you NEED to look for is if your cpu cooler will fit because it is a seriously tight squeeze between the cpu and the vga slot. The Intel stock cooler fits and I plan on replacing that with the swiftech H220 which their rep said should fit based on pictures. The only reason for the Asus board is the dedicated voltage regulator for better overclock (which are still obtainable on the asrock board) and more importantly the extra room between the vga and the cpu slot, allowing for larger cpu coolers.

Edit: if you are using a h80i, I believe that is fine as I've seen others in the bitfenix prodigy owner's club which have a h100 connected to their cpu. Double check that, though.

Asus P8Z77 Deluxe FTW! Yes it is $200 BUT it is a FANTASTIC board. You can monitor your temps and the board itself right from your smartphone or tablet device
