well it was because my sister lost the OEM charger so i had to get a universal one. but its not charging the laptop. instead its just powering it. the status shows 6% power left but 260 hours remaining...

since the computer thinks its running out of power and its not plugged in i cant do very much.

is it possible that i fried the connector that charges the battery? because its eating the power from the battery when it isnt plugged in. and when it is plugged in then its not charging but not draining the battery.

i got a OEM power supply but its still not charging the laptop. but the laptop doesnt work unless its plugged in. its at 2% power and 65 hours of power in the battery so it must be a glitch. like the computer thinks the power is coming from the battery but really its coming from the power supply.

should i replace the battery? or is it a blown circuit in the laptop???
