Yah Ima starting to regret going 1TB 850 EVO on my MBP. Now I can't shoot for under that.

...please Based Skylake revision smack Apple till they don't charge 500% markups on Sammy PCIe SSDs.

On the otherhand. 1TB 850 EVO has been what can only be described as ludicrous speed. Two IB cores isn't enough for that might. Makes me wonder just how slick NVMe will be on PCIe, the Intel 750 dream, she never dies. Dreams, dreams...

For now I have to pray my MBP holds up till either an opportune chance to buy arrises or I have cash.

Either way, pre-emptive BibleThump @ my wallet.

Just thought I would introduce myself. I have been using Mac OS since 8.6 and I absolutely love it. My first computer was a Kanga PowerBook G3 and it still works to this day. Best 1 dollar I ever spent. I used to be super active in the Jailbreak community and Hackintosh community. I have had quite a few Mac's and I intend to have more. I really enjoy the OC.net community as well as the tonymacx86, xdaforums, as well as many others. I have had many more Mac's than I can remember. This is just a little list of the main ones I have had. I have had a lot of classic and vintage Mac's too but those were bought and sold strictly to collect and to make money on.

Cheers

PowerBook G3 "Kanga" (250 MHz, 160 MB RAM, 6 GB HDD, CD-ROM & floppy hot swap,)
PowerBook G4 Ti (G4 500 MHz, 1 GB, 80 GB HDD, DVD ROM, )
PowerMac G5 2.0 DP (2.0 GHz DP, 8GB DDR RAM, SuperDrive, 64 GB OCZ SSD & 500 GB HDD, Airport Extreme, 9600 Pro from the 2.3 DP model)

PowerBook G4 15 (1.5 GHz, 2GB RAM, 80 GB HDD, SuperDrive, AirPort)

Over Christmas break from school, I found an early 2009 24" imac for $225 on newegg and couldn't pass it up. With everyone in my family using iPhones except me, I figured I could make my life easier by having a system to which they could all back up data or sync to at home. I must say that I enjoy using it after upgrading to El Capitan. It can't replace my Windows machine, but it is certainly serviceable for a daily web browser and occasional media center.
