It's Hannover time again. After a6 hour drive I entered the holy grounds of the Cebit 2011 Messe. Being a hardware enthousiast I went out to look for the new stuff ( as usually CES spoils all the fun ). So this is not a Cebit coverage with all sorts of cases, docking stations, USB sticks with lasers etc... Just the things that I found either good looking, innovative or usefull to the enthousiast crowd. Hence the title : some highlights
And ofcourse as a reviewer you are obliged to meet and greet all the lovely people that send us the goodies to play with.

Nothing really special IMO, but the 600T Casemod was beautiful! Definitely made want to buy one just to paint it white...and that 580 Captain card was gorgeous!
I remember seeing a fairly LARGE thermaltake Spin Q New version. Not the one in the picture though but it was a different fan a year ago. Whatever happened to that? Never was made in product? It was HUGE compared to the one in the picture. Just BIGGER. It looked like a huge rim.
I didn't even know AviiQ existed. Another company with great products.
Uhm...

Their well kept secret was the brand new GTX580 Matrix card. If it will beat the already high end CU II version is just a matter of time. The Award fabrik team had already 1600mhz benchable CU II cards being cooled with LN2

This is brand new. I've not read anything about that. It looks to use the same cooler as the Direct CU II but with a few nice additions cosmetically. I wonder what will be different...

It's actually a production case, not mod:

Yeah, that was a Thermalright concept. Doesn't seem like it made it into production. Fatal!ty's rig sure looks like it's sporting one similar, but much smaller. I'll see if I can find that link to the Thermalright display.

Edit: It was at Computex 2010, about 1/2 way down the page.

Wanted to see some Bulldozer motherboards, guess we won't be seeing anything until late May I guess.

I'm a huge fan of Gigabyte products, I just wish they would use 3GB on their GTX 580 SO card, 1.5GB isn't enough anymore.
