Thought about getting a Razer Armadillo to manage your mouse cable? Think again! Why pay 20$ when you can make one with stuff in your house.

This is what you need.

And maybe something to cut the tape.

Next, screw the screw into your desk

Cut a piece of tape (about 2-3 inches) and wrap it around the screw threads.

Place your mouse cord like this and maybe give it a little slack.

Place the rubber band over the cord to prevent it from slipping off. (Use a thicker rubber band if possible)

Works just like my friends Razer Armadillo but it didn't cost me a penny.

EDIT: This is what the real Armadillo looks like.

Pretty cool. I wouldn't do that though since I don't want to ruin my desk.
Lulz, +1 for ghetto mod, -1 for hole in desk.
Neat idea, I would imagine you could screw that into the back side of the table to not ruin the top surface, yea?

Great idea man. My desk is pretty thrashed too, but I don't think I need to manage my cables that much.
Meh, just stick one of those cheap sticky cable management clips on the back of the desk and run the wire through it. Easier, puts less stress on the cable, doesn't put a hole in your table, and prolly costs less than the screw.

Nice mod, but ehh.. My desk is a glass surface. Probably wouldn't be smart for me to drill a screw into it.

Also, is that a butterfly knife I see?

Tape doesn't hold, I've tried it. But seriously you're thinking in the right direction. Like i said just stick one of those sticky cheap plastic cable management clips on the back of the desk and the problem is solved without any of this fuss. No reason to drill a hole in your desk and **** up your mouse cable

ROFL have you tried duct tape? I had problems taking off the duct tape with my hands
I really doubt a cord could pull it all apart.

I personally just use my monitor foot (I have a CRT), and it works great.

The cheap plastic clip thingy's work too, I was just trying to point out how easy it is to make a ghetto mod and not have to pay 20$ for cable management.
I don't know about you guys... but when I have this problem, I just pull out a nice, big old dictionary and set it on top of the cord... this way, it doesn't put a hole in my desk, i don't need to stick anything to my desk, and I can pretend to be studying.. lol
I routed my cable and I don't have any problems with it at all. I just leave some extra slack, and the only problem I get is maybe hitting things sometimes.
bump, the more views the better.
